OUR MISSION

In this day and age, where immediacy is expected and performance is prioritized, we’ve found that the desire to be performance-perfect can sometimes get in the way of a truly strong relationship with the music. 

With the popularization of “practice tracks” in the last 20 years, teachers have discovered a fast-track to successful performance; utilizing singalong tracks that provide repetition in consistent part-delivery. 

Students have learned to rely on, and parrot back, these materials. Sounding less and less like themselves, removing the discovery and creativity from the learning process; robbing them of the chance to find their own unique voice in this music.

It is our priority at Wicked Pigeon to provide a fully immersive and customized coaching experience for each individual. We want to give students the opportunity not only to develop their own practice technique, but to show them how to deepen their practice and connection to each piece of music. 

It is our mission to empower young singers to find their own voice in this genre. 

With Wicked Practice, we aim to prioritize giving young singers the unique practice tools they need, and the permission for individuality that they haven’t ever been given.
